As promised I’m back with some more money saving auto insurance tips. A key factor to saving on your car insurance is to select the right insurer based on price, reputation, value for money and the details of the cover.

Searching for car insurance online is perhaps one of the best ways to find the best “value” deal for you as you can search through a number of insurance providers deals based on your specific needs. Some of the top comparison sites can be useful for this as they allow you to include and exclude features of insurance cover enabling you to search for your own tailor made insurance quotes. Searching via this method can save a lot of time as at the click of a button you can compare a number of rival insurance quotes. However, it is important to note that not all insurance providers are included in such comparison sites so some of your own research into online car insurance may be required to truly find the best “value” car insurance deal around.

Once you have selected the policy that offers you the best deal in terms of cover, price and customer service you should have been able to save a fair amount of money along the way by making all the right decisions based on these tips. However, for anyone thinking the saving is done, it isn’t! There is still one more saving opportunity and that is done when selecting how to pay for your car insurance premium. By paying the full amount upfront the fee is generally cheaper than paying monthly. When paying for a premium monthly a small price increase is added (just another trick by insurers to get more money out of you!).
